The founder of Singh Street Style, a blog that has been tagged as ‘English Sikh fashion site’, was created by Dagenham’s Pardeep Singh Bahra in 2013 to celebrate and showcase the style of Sikh Turbaned men on the streets of London.

Pardeep, who took up photography at the age of 17, has had his work featured in publications such as Vogue, The Guardian, New York Daily and Time.com and it was through his work that he launched the Topman and GQ Sikh model Jatinder Durhailay.

In April 2014, Pardeep became the first Turbaned Sikh man to model for British fashion designer and couturier Alexander McQueen CBE, in a campaign for the British style and culture magazine ‘Jocks & Nerds’.

Singh Street Style compiles a collection of photos of Sikh males in turbans in London in their natural environment going about their daily life.
