Known as Subaig ‘Sikh and Destroy’ Singh, Nottingham’s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) cagefighter graduated from Nottingham University with a medical qualification and used to work as a part-time locum. Having achieved a senior house officer (SHO) level he decided to take up MMA full-time and cut-back on his locum duties. Subaig, who holds black belts in Taekwondo and Wing Chun has also received training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, freestyle wrestling, boxing and Gatka.

Having taken up martial arts in 1997, the 28 year-old is regarded to be the first keshdari Sikh in martial arts and is destined to be a future World Champion MMA cagefighter.
